Old Italian ceramic jewellery box

Beautiful antique round box made of Italian ceramic, intricately worked in relief in the style of Capodimonte. The lid depicts a scene of putti amidst foliage, with a pear as the handle. The body of the box is decorated with garlands of flowers and rests on three original feet adorned with faun faces. This handcrafted sweet box from the 1950s is signed underneath. It is ideal for storing jewellery or as a collectible item. Impeccable condition, no cracks or chips. Height: 10cm Diameter: 15cm.
