Lot 2 - Charming set of 4 antique/vintage flat plates made of very fine white porcelain from Limoges, translucent in light, stamped B & C°, Bernardaud and Company, produced between the 1920s and 1950s. Elegant octagonal model with a wide rim, typical Art Deco shape. Multicoloured floral transfer decoration, blue line around the edge, spring-like, warm, cheerful, and traditional. 24.7 cm in diameter and 2.5 cm in height. Good used condition, with some manufacturing defects and wear to the transfer and rim. Two plates have a discreet chip, and there are a few very light utensil marks. Light patina on some, one with a manufacturing defect (small "ground" area inside, discreet). Approximately 250g each. Hand washing recommended, occasional dishwasher use possible on a gentle, low-temperature cycle.
