Lebrund Jean-Baptiste Louis XVI period mahogany secretary stamped

Lebrund Jean-Baptiste Mahogany secretary with gilt brass frame from the Louis XVI period. It opens with a drawer in the belt, a flap covered with gilded leather with small iron revealing small drawers, niches, shelf, in the lower part it opens with two doors revealing six drawers. It rests on four sheathed feet ending in bronze sabots. Blue turquin marble top. Clover key present and functional locks. 18th century Lebrund Jean-Baptiste Jean-Baptiste Topino, known as Le Brun. Privileged cabinetmaker merchant of the King, established in Marseille, rue Saint-Ferréol, was brother of the master Charles Topino. Very few pieces of furniture are known from this craftsman.
