This pair of elegant Scandia chairs was designed by Hans Brattrud in 1957. The seat is crafted from bent American oak and set on a modernist, organically shaped metal base. The graphic line of the base creates hairpin legs. This combination creates a lounge chair with an impressive and dynamic form and excellent seating comfort. This is a perfect piece for lovers of Scandinavian design. This pair of armchairs, designed in 1957, was crafted by the Fjordfiesta manufactory in Norway at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries. Fjordfiesta, with the ambition to develop and reconnect with Scandinavian design heritage, was founded by architect Pål Lunder. With strong ties to the aesthetics of Scandinavian design culture and 21st-century values regarding ethical and environmental issues, Fjordfiesta aims to create furniture that will last for generations to come. Inspired by Norway's beautiful nature, the designers at Fjordfiesta represent Norwegian design culture. The armchairs are in very good original condition. They have minimal wear and tear. The seat height is 38 cm. The signature is located under the seat. The colours of the products shown in the photos may differ slightly from the actual ones. This is due to individual monitor settings and lighting conditions – the photos were taken in artificial light, which may affect the perception of colours. However, we strive to ensure that the photos reflect the actual appearance of the product as faithfully as possible. The offer may include photos of the item in the living space, but these are for illustrative purposes only.
