Model of the bench or daybed "Cansado" created by Charlotte Perriand, a true collector's item. Designed for the company "MIFERMA", it furnished the apartments of its executives. Its decidedly modern design makes it an essential piece that is easy to integrate into any interior, making it unique. The structure and base are made of black lacquered steel, topped with 13 slats of mahogany. The cushions are covered in a wool fabric from Nobilis. Other fabrics are available upon request. Origin: Executive house in the mining town of Cansado, Mauritania, built in the 1960s by the Mauritanian Iron Mines Company "MIFERMA" to house its employees. Part of the furniture was designed by Charlotte Perriand between 1959 and 1967. Seat height: 35 cm. Manufacturer: Steph Simon, circa 1959 - 1967.
