Vallauris fatlava liqueur set

A ceramic liqueur set in the "meerschaum" style, typical of the French Mediterranean. It comprises eight cups and a decanter. The meerschaum technique is achieved using stoneware and high-fire glaze, giving it a cloud-like, wave-like appearance. This set is presented here in shades of brown. The set is displayed on an attractive metal stand. Vintage, circa 1970. Unsigned. In good condition, one section of the decoration has cracked at the base. Decanter dimensions: 33 cm high x 16 cm wide x 10 cm deep. Cup dimensions: 5 cm high x 7 cm long x 4 cm wide. Black metal stand dimensions: 34 cm high x 12 cm wide x 22 cm long.
