Vintage liqueur service signed Vallauris

Description: Superb and authentic vintage liqueur (or digestif) service from Vallauris, a famous pottery centre in the south of France. Iconic artisanal production from the 1960s/1970s. Authenticity: The jug is signed "Vallauris" embossed under its base, a guarantee of its certified and historical origin for collectors. Condition: Excellent overall condition (close to new except for one cup that has suffered a knock). The set has clearly never been used and has been kept in a display case. The ceramic is vibrant, very shiny, with no cracks or chips on almost any of the pieces. The original metal stand is perfectly stable, clean, and solid. The complete lot includes: 1 signed carafe/jug with its original ceramic stopper, 8 matching small cups/shooters, 1 original twisted black wrought iron transport stand. Aesthetic & Style: Beautiful work of glossy speckled glazing in shades of brown and orange. The body of the pieces is enhanced by the famous textured white relief decoration in the "sea foam" style (Fat Lava trend), emblematic of Mid-Century French art ceramics.
