Antique Mirror Window in Solid Oak - Old Castle Dormer - 173 cm. Magnificent and imposing trumeau mirror made from an authentic dormer window from a castle in the Hauts-de-France. This unique piece perfectly combines the charm of ancient architecture with the elegance of a large accent mirror. The solid oak structure and its original iron fittings have been fully restored by sandblasting, revealing the soft, light, and warm hue of raw natural oak. Carefully repurposed, the window is now sealed (it no longer opens) to serve as a large fixed mirror, ideal for placing on the floor or leaning against a wall in an entrance, living room, or bedroom. It features a superb shelf at the bottom (9 cm deep). Generous dimensions: • Height: 173 cm. • Width: 95 cm. • Frame thickness: 3 cm. • Bottom shelf thickness: 9 cm deep. Condition: Good overall condition. The piece retains beautiful and discreet signs of use that testify to its history and authenticity, giving it an inimitable extra soul. An architectural centrepiece, rare and highly decorative, ready to integrate into a contemporary interior, a conservatory, or a characterful country house. Note: The last photo shows it as the window installed at the top of the castle on a stone dormer.
