Antique arched window in natural wood with cast iron fittings - 19th century. The elegance of architectural charm in its purest form. This magnificent antique window made of solid wood (fir) is distinguished by its arched top and original frame. A character piece, it still retains its original cast iron fittings and metal corner reinforcements, giving it a sought-after industrial or "country house" look. The window has been sandblasted on one side, revealing the superb natural patina and grain of the wood. The other side remains in its original state with its period white paint (chipped, offering a "shabby chic" appearance). ● Condition: sold in its original state, sanded on the side that has been treated. • Note: the panes need to be replaced as they are clouded from the sandblasting, • Or mirrors can be added for beautiful decor.
