Pair of glass and brass sconces by Carl Fagerlund for Orrefors, 1960

Superb pair of real brass and glass wall sconces, 1960. Designed by Carl Fagerlund. Produced in collaboration between the Danish lighting manufacturer Lyfa and the Swedish glassworks Orrefors. The fact that these lights are no longer produced makes them rare collector's items. Thick, textured, curved glass shades. The shades are attached with 2 brass knobs to polished brass wall plates. The wall sconces illuminate beautifully thanks to the reflection of the bulb on the brass plates. Original labels intact (one sconce is newer than the other but they are identical). Can be used with switch wiring or directly connected to a wall thanks to the round opening on the brass plate. Each piece weighs 1.7 kg. Each wall sconce requires 1 E27 bulb, max 25 W. LED compatible. Light wear consistent with the age and use of these pieces. Recently polished brass. The price indicated is for the pair (2 wall lights).
