Large plate / wall plate in Vallauris art ceramic (circa 1960–1970) A magnificent piece in terracotta signed Léa Donat, directly inspired by the mythological universe and the bacchanals of Picasso at the Madoura Workshop. Expressive decoration with stylised nudes worked with ochre and brown slips, enhanced by bold lines in dark oxides offering a beautiful graphic and textured presence. Originally equipped with a hanging hole on the back under the heel for simple and secure wall mounting. Origin: Vallauris (France) Signature: Incised/painted on the back Léa Donat - Vallauris.
