Buxo wall plate 1960

Large wall plate signed Buxo, handcrafted Spanish production, Catalonia, 1960s-70s. A fully handmade workshop piece in red clay, decorated with a modernist female nude painted on a cracked celadon green background. Thick relief glazes applied manually, creating a play of texture and depth typical of Catalan art ceramic workshops of the time. Each irregularity in the glaze and firing nuance reflects authentic artisanal work, far from industrial production. Original suspension on the reverse. Generous size Ø 32 cm, height 3 cm. Very beautiful wall presence, mid-century Mediterranean spirit. Very good vintage condition with a patina consistent with age.
