Antique majolica vase signed Fives-Lille / D.B. De Bruyn, numbered 4359 under the base. A generously sized piece (35 cm high, 12 cm diameter at the neck, 17 cm maximum diameter), featuring a superb floral decoration in enameled relief, typical of the Art Nouveau style. The deep green glaze highlights a finely modeled and hand-painted iris flower in shades of purple and gold. The gently curved neck and sculpted base give this vase an elegant and harmonious silhouette. Antique vase in very good overall condition, without cracks or chips.
