Floral polychrome table lamp from Delft, by Tichelaar Makkum, hand-painted on a baluster vase in ceramic, dating from approximately 1890, and embellished with a new loose pleat burnt orange silk shade and a yellow cord covered in fabric. The dense pattern covering the entire piece—blue, yellow, green, and iron-red flowers on a white tin-glazed background—encloses a slightly ribbed octagonal body: a unique lamp made from an antique vase.
