Sculpted column

Very beautiful solid wood column, intricately carved at its base with a delicately worked vine decoration. The patina is warm and deep, with the wood grain telling the story of time and giving the piece a true visual density. The silhouette is slender, well-proportioned, ideal for holding a lamp, a sculpture, or a large bouquet in a majestic vase, thus adding a theatrical touch to your interior. The overall condition is very good. There is an old crack at the base, visible but sound, which appears to be original and does not affect the stability of the column. There is also (see last photo) a small mark on the shaft, visible up close, which does not detract from the presence of the column. Careful shipping.
