Armchairs by Josef Maria Olbrich for Thonet, Austria, 1910, Set of 4

Rare and extraordinary set of 4 bent beech chairs by architect and designer Josef Maria Olbrich for Thonet, from an important office in Trieste (Italy). Designed in 1910 during the period 1890 to 1919, these chairs are attributed to Olbrich, although they have no attribution mark. The set is in very good condition with no defects, but slight traces of use may be visible. Reupholstery is recommended. The chairs are made of bentwood and feature a brown finish. Dimensions: Width 127 cm, Depth 127 cm, Height 193-194 cm. Weight range: Standard (40kg to 80kg).
