Antique hand candlestick in patinated brass – Vintage cellar rat

An old brass hand candlestick, also known as a rat de cave, featuring a dish with scalloped edges and a small circular handle for easy movement. Its central bobeche has a flared shape, while its slightly hollow dish collects any wax drips. The brass has a beautiful antique patina with brown and golden hues, along with traces of green oxidation and visible signs of wear, reflecting its age. A small vintage item full of character, ideal for adding an authentic touch to country, rustic, or vintage decor, on a table, fireplace, or antique furniture. Antique condition with marked patina, signs of oxidation, and wear from time. See photographs.
