Pair of cellar rat brass cloisonné candlesticks – 1960s

Charming pair of antique low candlesticks known as "rat-de-cave", made of gilded brass with cloisonné enamel decoration of green and white foliage. Carefully crafted, the decorations have been hand-painted in a delicate style typical of mid-20th century Asian artisanal productions. In very good condition with slight and lovely signs of age, without any structural defects. These candlesticks offer a dual use, both decorative and functional, on a table or console, for dinners with soft lighting. Weight of the pair: 0.575 kg.
