French Art Nouveau Bronze Single Wall Light With White Pattern Glass Shade. The bronze backplate is shaped like a stylised leaf, capturing the flowing, nature-inspired aesthetics of the Art Nouveau period. Extending from the plate is a graceful gooseneck-style arm with ribbed detailing, further adorned with a delicate grapevine embellishment—an iconic motif of the era. The arm leads to a finely cast bronze shade holder with subtle leaf decoration, perfectly complementing the design. The lamp is fitted with a lovely opaque white patterned glass shade, finished with a softly frilled edge that diffuses the light with gentle warmth. The shade is securely held in place by three original fixing screws. The light is working and wired with French twin core wiring and takes 1 large bayonet bulb B22. The bronze features a beautiful deep aged patina with marks consistent with its age, adding to its character and vintage appeal. The glass shade is in good condition, complete and free from any cracks, with just slight nibbles at the frilled edge. The glass has some air bubbles which is common in glass from this era. There are 3 fixing holes on the backplate for easy installation after wiring. Wall fittings not included.
