Plaster bust of emperor lucius verus, co-emperor with marcus aurelius between 161 - 169 ad, I.e. The year 161. This posthumous work dates from the year 181 - 183 and was part of the borghese collection before its arrival at the louvre. Xxl bust in solid and painted plaster. Great beauty and fantastic presence, calm and strong. Height 52cm. Of course very very heavy. Visible splinters. Hand delivery recommended.
