Mahogany bed designed by André Sornay around 1960, made with the patented Tigette assembly system that characterises the production of the Lyon workshop in the mid-20th century. The structure is entirely made of solid mahogany with clean and understated lines. The headboard consists of a wooden frame equipped with a cream melamine panel, creating a subtle contrast between the warmth of the wood and the light surface. The Tigette metal rod system allows for a visible and rational assembly of the panels, a technical signature developed by Sornay to modernise furniture production while maintaining a refined aesthetic.
