Minimalist daybed by Jorge Zalszupin for L’atelier, Brazil 1959

Beautiful minimalist daybed in very good original condition. Designed by Jorge Zalszupin for L’atelier in the 1950s and manufactured in Brazil (marked). The minimalist base is made from solid jacaranda wood, with a slender frame that holds the rectangular feet and solid wooden slats supporting the mattress. The daybed comes with a new mattress upholstered in high quality light beige fabric with a light nap. The neck roll is in the same fabric and features a jacaranda wooden button on each side. The base is left in original condition but can be refinished on request. Two available.
