French empire style brass bouillotte table lamp green crackle effect shade

French empire style brass and metal bouillotte table lamp dating from the early 1900s. The base of the lamp is round with a decorative edge and a ribbed design on the central column. From the central column come the three scrolled arms with acanthus leaf detail leading to the round candle drip holders. The candle drips are the old card type in keeping with the lamp. To the top of the lamp is a long square bar which holds the shade and the shade can be moved up and down the bar to the desired height using the little bolt to hold it in place. The shade is round in metal and is finished in dark green crackle effect with a gold detail around the bottom.the lamp is working with a gold colour flex, on/off button and a 2 pin european plug. The lamp takes three small screw in bulbs e14s. The brass base is in good vintage condition with a lovely aged patina and the shade is in good condition with light age related marks. The candle drips are quite worn around the tops. All of the items we sell are second hand/vintage/antique and used, so please check the photos before purchasing as these form part of the description.
