Bronze Bouillotte Lamp in Louis XVI Style with Two Lights "Lucien Gau"

In solid bronze, in the Louis XVI style, this two-light lamp is characterised by its oval lampshade painted in green, the quality of its decoration, and the cup in which its base rests. The antique gold finish of the bronze adds depth to its decoration. From the cup rises the lamp's stem, decorated with a collar of fine beads, leaves, and shiny circles. The body begins with a detail of upward leaves, continues with a profiled section that supports a new cup from which the arms in double volutes extend, holding the lights. The basins are sculpted with floral motifs and directly hold candles.
