A very beautiful 19th-century walnut corner cabinet with a rich patina. Designed to fit into a corner, it rests on three turned feet and opens with two curved doors to reveal its original shelf. The left door clips onto the shelf, while the right door closes with its original solid lock. The key is in perfect working order, and the doors close without any problem. The top is attractively curved at the front. Overall, the cabinet's aesthetic is quite appealing. In the Louis XV style, it features fluted uprights with, in the lower section, reeded fluting (the channels are filled with wooden decorations). The three small carved notches at the top of each upright and the elegant design of the lower plinth are also noteworthy. The charm of this piece of furniture lies in its overall appearance, largely due to its patina and signs of age: old wormholes (stabilized and harmless), common to furniture used before central heating, signs of wear, and imperfections in the wood (none of which affect the piece's functionality). In short, it looks beautiful despite its long history – not recommended for die-hard Ikea fans: ) Height: 89 cm. Width: 77 cm. Depth: 53 cm. Each upright against the wall: 53.5 cm. The price is firm, thank you. Delivery within a short distance and to ground floor only is available for €40.
