Solid oak sideboard dating from the mid-19th century, featuring the graceful lines of the Louis XV style. The top is encircled by a bec de corbin (curved arch) surround. The front opens with two paneled doors mounted on wrought iron hinges and adorned with finely crafted iron lock escutcheons with scrollwork motifs. The lock, in perfect working order, comes with its key. The rounded uprights extend harmoniously to the curved legs typical of the period. The interior offers practical storage space, equipped with an adjustable shelf on racks, allowing the height to be adjusted as needed. The warm patina and careful woodwork make this piece an authentic piece, ideal for lovers of characterful furniture. ******** Period: Mid-19th century.
