Spectacular and rare "Moon" lamp, designed by Jacques Charles for Maison Charles in the 1960s, as part of the famous Inox Collection. A true luminous sculpture, the lamp consists of a tall, slender structure with organic lines supporting an imposing circular reflector. The light source, concealed by the disc, produces a beautiful indirect lighting and creates a halo around it reminiscent of an eclipse. This example, likely made around 1970, shows a lovely patina and bears the stamp "MADE IN FRANCE / CHARLES," confirming its edition by Maison Charles. A particularly sculptural and uncommon model from the modernist production of the house, very different from the famous gilded bronze plant lamps with which Maison Charles is often associated. Height: approx. 80 cm. Good vintage condition, with marks and patina consistent with its age. Functional electricity.
