ABOUT BOB BENNETT Bob Bennett (1928–2003) was an American sculptor best known for his refined wire sculptures of the 1960s and 1970s. During this period, he intensively explored the relationship between line, space, and movement, creating open, transparent structures that reveal a different character from every angle. Bob worked closely with his identical twin brother, Tom Bennett. Together they ran the company Bennett Sculpture, creating both autonomous artworks and larger commissions for public spaces. Although they exhibited and produced together, Bob developed a clearly recognizable signature style, particularly in his early wire sculptures, which are now considered his most distinctive and collectible work.
