Set of four S28 chairs in solid elm designed by Pierre Chapo in the mid-1960s and produced by Atelier Chapo in France. Each chair rests on a solid wood structure assembled according to the cabinetmaking principles dear to Chapo, featuring thick sections and visible joints. The rectangular seat and slightly inclined backrest provide a good balance between comfort and formal rigor. The work with elm, dense and lively, reveals deep grain and a natural patina acquired over time, highlighting the authentic and functional character of the whole. The S28 model is part of Pierre Chapo's production of domestic furniture, designed for everyday use around the table, while asserting a strong and lasting architectural presence. Edition: Atelier Chapo, France.
