Compact dining area "fusion" table & 4 chairs

Design Sandra Kragnert for Ikea (late 70s). Reissued around the 2000s Really very practical furniture (solves the problem of space!) while being particularly elegant, and here in excellent condition - rare thing! Table length: 84 cm, width: 84 cm, height: 75 cm. Width of each chair: 61 cm, total depth with legs: 53 cm, height: 76 cm. Very wide, comfortable seats, in upholstered imitation leather, all in perfect condition. Sturdy construction, very thick veneers: oak for the table top, beech & ash curved for the backrests. Chrome steel tubing. Base of the table fixed by 16 screws, removable for transport. Ditto for the chairs, they have 8 large tightening screws. Very solid set and really stable. (The table legs - with screwed end - are adjustable; they follow the possible irregularities of the floor) Ideal for a small dining room or a small dining area. 4 real seats and table area superior to a round table of the same size. And chairs included, the floor space of the set in a tidy position is incredibly economical: less than 1 square meter! This Swedish "designer" was great !!!
