Neoclassical floor lamp by Henri Petitot for Atelier Petitot Paris France 1930's. Brass. Henri Petitot (1914–1938) was a French designer renowned for his Art Deco lighting. As head of Atelier Petitot, founded by his father Eugène in 1860, he modernized production by introducing geometric forms and innovative materials such as satin glass and nickel-plated bronze. His designs, such as Cubist pendants and wall sconces, combined functionality with refined aesthetics. Sought after by collectors, his works embody the elegance of 1930s French design.
