Mid-century space age globe floor lamp, 1960s

Vintage design. Rare lamp from the Space Age era. Floor lamp with a large orange spherical diffuser. A light source and at the same time a unique object in the room. The most striking feature is probably the large translucent orange plastic spherical body. The body forms a complete sphere with an opening only at the top. It rests on a chrome-coloured stem that fits into a flat white base at the bottom. Along this stem, the sphere can be adjusted in height, giving the lamp a changing appearance. A detail with a special effect is the opening at the top of the sphere, which creates an interesting reflection in the chrome of the bar.
