Louis XV style crystal chandelier

A beautiful antique french louis XV style crystal chandelier fabricated with brass arms and cut glass central columns, 3 rows of large heavy excellent quality crystals cascading outwards and a set of 5 arms with many large crystals towards the bottom, finished off with a large crystal boule ball to the very bottom. Perfect for a hallway romantic bedroom or dining room with a high ceiling. Condition. The chandelier is very old and a classy well made long and slender very elegant fixture but very well looked after, the crystals are of excellent quality and very heavy, there are a few chips to some of the larger crystals and I spotted 2 crystals and a rosette that has been used to replace a small boule crystal these may have been lost and replaced in the past, its really difficult to see the chips and replaced crystal when hung and lit but would rather mention.check out the photos for this. The wiring looks good although maybe not the original, but as with all 2nd hand lighting would be wise to get it checked over before use. The e14 screw in fittings are the original wooden style with wooden faux candle tubes which also show signs of wear and age and could be replaced easily if it bothered you. Dimensions. 76 cms 30 inch long. 45 cms 18 inch wide. Weight before packaging is 4.7 kgs 11 lbs.
