I offer you this water jug, a testament to the historical know-how of the famous Sarreguemines factory. The stamp found under the base allows this piece to be attributed to the period between 1875 and 1900, as illustrated. This piece features a characteristic clouded decoration, combining delicacy and elegance. Despite its great age, this jug remains in excellent overall condition, with only two tiny chips barely visible on the spout, attesting to its authenticity and past use. DIMENSIONS: Height: 20 cm. Diameter (top part): 12.5 cm. Total span (with spout and handle): 22 cm. HISTORY: Founded in 1790, the Sarreguemines pottery is one of the most prestigious manufacturers in Europe. Although the activity ceased in 2007, marking the end of more than two centuries of industrial history, the legacy of its creations continues to be celebrated and preserved by collectors and enthusiasts of fine ceramics.
