Vintage pitcher in midnight blue glazed ceramic with bright pink relief

Superb vintage glazed ceramic pitcher, a truly decorative piece with unique charm. Its curved body is adorned with a spectacular relief design, combining a deep midnight blue with a vibrant bright pink in a striking interplay of textures. The glossy glaze highlights the contrasts between the smooth surface and the overlaid patterns, for a visual effect that is both bold and refined. Note the interplay of textures that created white touches during glazing—a lovely manufacturing flaw! This expressive work evokes the Mediterranean artisanal productions of the 1960s and 1970s, in the Vallauris or San Marino style, famous for their colorful glazes and sculptural relief effects. No indication of brand or provenance: probably France (Vallauris) or Italy (San Marino), 1960s–1970s. Height 16 cm – Width with handle 16.5 cm. Beautiful vintage condition, bright enamel, a chip on the edge of the spout. The interplay of textures and shades during enameling created white highlights, a nice manufacturing flaw! (see photos).
