Stunning sommerso glass vase by flavio poli for seguso vetri d'arte (murano, italy, 1960s). This extremely decorative vase is made of thick blue and pink/purple glass. Extremely rare colours. Height: 24 cm; width (largest point): 10 cm; depth (largest point): 7 cm. Excellent vintage condition. "sommerso" is a technique developed in murano in the 1930s which was very popular in the 1950s-70s. The result is a glass with contrasting colours that is usually cased by a clear layer.
