Set of Nr. 31 Cantilever Lounge Chairs by Alvar Aalto, 1930s

This set of two Nr. 31 cantilever lounge chairs was designed by Alvar Aalto and manufactured by Huonekalu-ja Rakennustyotehdas in Finland during the 1930s. These Scandinavian Modern pieces are crafted from birch and plywood, showcasing a design period from 1920 to 1949. The chairs are in good vintage condition, showing light wear consistent with age and use, along with patina. One chair has a veneer restoration, as depicted in the photographs. Each chair measures 61 cm in width, 75 cm in depth, and 65 cm in height. Please note that the weight range is standard, between 40 kg and 80 kg.
