1980s “Lamello” chair by Yngve Ekström for Swedese, Sweden

A highly recognizable 'Lamello' chair designed by Yngve Ekström and manufactured by Swedese, Sweden around 1980. The chair is made of high-quality black wood, beautifully bent into shape with subtle curves and a nice organic seat. The seat and back are moulded from the same piece and upholstered in black fabric. The monochrome style is really fitting for this piece, adding a sophisticated elegance to its modern design. Marked on the frame, as shown in photos. It remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
