Ultra rare rocking bench, designed by richard hutten in 2003. Only 3 of these benches are made. This one is no 2. Signed and numbered by the artist. Museum piece! Very interesting for collectors. Richard hutten is one of the most influential and successful contemporary dutch designers. He is well known for his conceptual and playful designs. A true innovator, he has established himself as one of the leading international figures in his field, continuously pushing the boundaries of design. The bench is made of red lacquered wood with a patterned top layer of plastic on the seating/backrest. It is in very good original condition.
