Danish vintage wall unit in teak by PS system, Randers, 1960s

An exceptionally functional, modular wall system designed in the 1960s by Preben Sørensen and manufactured by PS Systems in Randers, Denmark. Crafted from teak wood and teak veneer—materials valued for their warm tone, durability, and longevity—it was built to last for decades. The variety of elements offers versatile storage and display possibilities. Adjustable shelves allow for convenient arrangement of books, decorative objects, and everyday items. The system features a fully modular design, allowing for flexible configurations. The position of shelves and cabinets can be easily adjusted to suit individual needs. One of the cabinets retains its original PS System label, confirming the authenticity of the piece. Assembly is simple and intuitive—the elements are mounted on wooden rails using brass hangers, metal pins, and dowels. The set includes: cabinet: H 35 / W 80 / D 35 cm. Display cabinet: H 35 / W 80 / D 45 cm. 8 shelves: W 80 / D 20 cm. 3 teak mounting rails, each 199 cm long. Brass hangers and metal mounting elements. (screws not included) The unit has been fully restored. The wood was stained to achieve an even color and then treated with Danish oil, enhancing its natural beauty and grain. The original manufacturer’s label further confirms the authenticity of the piece.
