Iconic dining table model "Allen 605", designed in 1917 by the famous American architect Frank Lloyd Wright for the Allen House (Wichita, Kansas), and produced by the Italian company Cassina as part of its "I Maestri" collection. A centrepiece of interior architecture. True to Wright's beloved "Prairie School" architectural style, the Allen table is distinguished by its pure geometric lines and its monumental base made up of four imposing pillars connected by a structure of open vertical slats. Structure and base in solid cherry wood. The wood has a warm and bright hue with very elegant grain. Imposing tabletop (280 X 106 cm), ideal for comfortably seating 10 to 12 guests. Perfectly suitable as a large dining table, reception table, or meeting table. Very good overall condition, although there are micro-scratches or slight signs of use typical for a vintage piece, which do not detract from the overall beauty of the furniture. Collection in person at the Homebox warehouse in Colombes where it is stored.
