Amsterdam School sideboard (J.Th Drilling Jr) Art deco

DESCRIPTION: A beautiful and unique Art Deco sideboard of Amsterdam craftsmanship. This sideboard comes from J Th Drilling Jr, which was located at Rozengracht 114 in Amsterdam with a high-quality furniture factory and shop. Founded in 1924, it produced beautiful Art Deco furnishings. This Art Deco sideboard is no exception, featuring ebony with a beautiful grain and burr walnut veneer that adds warmth to the whole. The attention is drawn to the beautiful woodcarving on the back panel of the cabinet, where the ebony is shown to its best advantage. The fine craftsmanship is also evident around the glass, near the drawers, and indeed on every surface. The cabinet still has its original key, and a second non-original key is included. The cabinet features two display cabinets on the sides, three closed compartments, and three drawers. An open space can be found at the bottom.
