Large Louis Philippe style mirror in blackened wood and plaster, it has a golden relief decoration, it is circa. The Louis Philippe style is recognizable, it is sober, the patterns and ornaments are few and the lines slightly rounded, it prepares the arrival of the Napoleon III style. The mercury glass is surrounded by a golden pearl gallery, it has some pitting in places this mirror has benefited from a major restoration because there was a lot of missing which explains irregularities at the bottom, but the whole remains in very good condition because this mirror dates from the end of the 19th century. The back is shaped with an original parquet flooring which was used to protect the mercury, an iron link allows it to be hung if necessary. This old mirror patinated by time has retained all the charm of its life, it will make a beautiful vintage decoration whether it is placed on a wall or on the floor inside your home.
