Antique Louis Philippe mirror 101 X 74

This medium-sized wooden and gilded stucco mirror is a very beautiful decorative piece. Old, it certainly dates from the end of the 19th century. Its characteristic shape, rounded in its upper part, is called louis philippe. Its frame has mixed ornamentation and its mirror is highlighted with a frieze of a pearl necklace. The frame has been completely restored in keeping with the patinas of the past; a mixture of gold and bronze gilding in the majority, with shades of red. The mercury mirror is in its original condition, some traces are to be observed, particularly in the middle, see photographic montage.
