19th C Louis Philippe XXX-Pattern Mirror

Antique french 19th century louis philippe style gold gilt mirror etched with an x-pattern and its inner rim edged with a classic 'string of pearls' motif. This beautiful antique french gold gilt mirror has the typical rounded upper corners that make it a louis philippe mirror. Louis philippe mirrors, with their clean lines and versatile shape, are a popular choice in traditional or contemporary home settings. The mirror has its original mirror plate and wooden back cladding. The original gilt finish of the frame is nicely worn, giving it great character. The mirror frame is structurally healthy and the glass is still in a good condition, showing some small foxed patches. We can note that the mirror and the back are authentic and original.
