Old painting signed Raignau, early 20th century

Superb old painting signed h. Raignau, student of fernand cormon (french painter 1845 / 1924). Represents the smallest house in paris, 39 rue du château d'eau in the 10th arrondissement (see label on the back of the painting). On the back of the board is written in pencil “pupil cormon”. Oil on canvas mounted on panel. In excellent condition, the painting is signed h. Raignau bottom right. In a pretty old frame in gilded wood and nicely patinated by time, this painting is full of charm. The colors are superb. A ring on the back allows it to be hung on the wall. Height: 36.5 cm.
