Old fish plate in Henriot Quimper faience - Port-en-Bessin

Authentic and stunning earthenware plate from the famous Henriot Quimper factory, model "fish plate" bearing the official shape number F.360. Entirely hand-painted (initials of the painter MK on the back), it features a couple of Bretons in traditional costume at the centre. The relief border showcases a beautiful speckled blue glaze reminiscent of scales. Notable feature: It has the personalised inscription "Port-en-Bessin" on the back, made for this coastal town in Normandy. Condition: Perfect condition. No chips, no cracks, no glaze skips. The earthenware is flawless and shiny.
