Exquisite 19th Century Louis Philippe Mirror in Gold Gilt, showcasing a captivating ornate cartouche adorned with intricate foliage and grape motifs. France, circa 1850 - 1880s. This stunning antique French mirror boasts the characteristic rounded upper corners that define the Louis Philippe style. The mirror frame remains robust in structure, and the original antique mirror plate is intact within. While the glass exhibits a charming foxing, it retains its reflective capability, allowing you to see yourself clearly. The mirror has its original wooden back cladding. The original gilt finish of the frame is nicely worn, giving it great character.
