Set of three pieces in flamed stoneware by the ceramist Daniel Auger, comprising a coffee pot, a milk jug, and a matching sugar bowl. Full, generous shapes, perfectly balanced, with earthy glazes featuring natural drips in ochre, sand, and warm browns, typical of the great stoneware from Puisaye. Daniel Auger began his career in Accolay (Yonne) before settling permanently in Saint-Amand-en-Puisaye in 1973, where he took over the workshop of potter Jean Gaubier. This is a tradition of French stoneware, recognised for the quality of its glazes and the accuracy of its forms. All three pieces are signed “dA” underneath. Coffee pot: height 24 cm, base diameter 13 cm, neck diameter 10 cm Milk jug: height 10 cm, base diameter 9 cm, neck diameter 8 cm Sugar bowl: height 12.5 cm, depth without lid 9.5 cm, base diameter 13 cm, neck diameter 9.5 cm In excellent vintage condition for the set, with no cracks or chips, shiny (see photos). An emblematic set of Puisaye ceramics.
