Beautiful French glazed stoneware set from the 1970s, consisting of a large coffee pot with its lid and a matching cream jug. Created by Chantal and Thierry Robert, ceramicists based in Poncé-sur-le-Loir, where they develop their ceramic work at the Moulin de Paillard. Very fine stoneware work with natural shades of cream, beige, grey, and brown, featuring a speckled and nuanced glaze that makes each piece unique. The coffee pot is distinguished by its slender silhouette, long spout, and large dark brown geometric handle. The cream jug features the same decoration and handle, creating a particularly harmonious set. A beautiful example of French studio pottery from the 1970s, both rustic, modernist, and highly decorative. Dimensions: Coffee pot: H 24 cm Cream jug: H 13 cm Very good overall vintage condition. Any small irregularities in shape and glaze are characteristic of handmade production. See detailed photographs.
